This Stamped Walkway was done with a random flagston pattern This sample from our home page is an example of what a SCROLL FINISH would look like. Of course all results vary on a variety of variables. This is an example of a BROOM FINISH. It is acheived by pulling a broom across the surface to create a rough surface for traction. This sample (same project as the pool apron) shows the edging mark that is created on all form edges or edges abbuting other concrete. It is available in 2" or 4" widths and is used to neaten up an edge and create a dull edge to prevent chipping.
Exposed Aggregate
Exposed aggregate is completed by applying a set retarder to the concrete after it has been laid and floated. No finish is applied. The following day powerwashing reveals the aggregate used in the mix. In this sample crushed Blue Stone was used.
